The Lubbuck UFO Lights  The UFO Light Incident occurred on August 30-31, 1951 Lubbock, TX 11:30 p.m. A Texas Tech freshman named Carl Hart Jr. sees the same formation of 18–20 lights over Lubbock, Texas, and takes five photos. He gets the roll of film developed the next day and takes it to the Lubbock Morning Avalanche, which puts them out on the Associated Press wire. ATIC examines the photos and notes that the “two rows of spots behaved differently. August 31, 1987 Kitsap Peninsula, WA CE3 At 10:55 p.m. A dark, domed, disc-shaped UFO with a mast or antenna on top comes down quickly over the high-security Naval Submarine Base Bangor [now Naval Base Kitsap] on the Kitsap Peninsula, Washington, which houses the Trident nuclear ballistic submarine fleet.  It hovers over a playground. Randy Springsteen, 8, and Dennis Mauer, 10, sons of military personnel, are sitting on the swings and see an entity with a big head, big pointed “cat” ears, wrinkled skin, and a greenish complexion in an open hatch. August 30, 1970 Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 9:45 p.m. Almiro Martins de Freitas is working as a guard at the Barragem do Funil electrical power plant in Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when he notices a row of 15 blue and yellow lights outside.  After he leaves the powerhouse, he hears an explosion and the lights go out for a few seconds, after which he sees above the dam the UFO lights are coming from about 165–200 feet away. He crawls across the dam to get closer and reaches a point 50 feet away. It was August 28, 1972  Buenos Aires, Argentina 3:00 a.m. Eduardo Fernando de Deugd [or Dedeu] is driving from Médanos to Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Argentina, when someone waves him down to ask for a ride. He asks if the hitchhiker is going to Bahía Balance, but the man’s reply is unintelligible.  The Alien humaniod wearing a coat with a turned-up collar and a large round cap. He has a jaw so elongated that it comes down almost to his chest. Further efforts to communicate prove futile. As de Deugd nears the city, his car lights go off suddenly. Ahead of him is a huge object with a blue light in the middle and two smaller white lights on the sides. Today in UFO History - Mini-Disc over Blackbushe August 27, 1979 Hampshire, England 2:30 p.m. Flying instructor Laurie Adlington has just left Blackbushe Airport in Yateley, Hampshire, England, with Lt. James Plastow from Sandhurst Military College for his pilot’s license test in a Cessna 150. They are at 2,000 feet heading toward Basingstoke when Adlington suddenly grabs the controls and throws the Cessna into a steep bank and descent to avoid a collision.  An UFO suddenly speeds past the front of the aircraft, coming within a few feet of the windshield. The rotating UFO is about 12 inches in diameter, shaped like a doughnut, reflects light with a silvery glow “like a blob of mercury,” and has a honeycombed surface. Today in UFO History - Silver UFO Dived into Seneca Lake August 26, 1952 Watkins Glen, NY Marion Cranston [or Graston] sees two silver balls pass overhead noiselessly at her home in Watkins Glen, New York.
