U.S CONGRESS ENACTS SWEEPING UNPRECEDENTED NEW MANDATED UFO LAW
For the first time ever, Congress has enacted explicit and sweeping
mandates to the Pentagon and the Intelligence Community regarding how to
deal with UFOs-- signed into law by President Biden today (December 27,
2021) as part of the massive National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA,
S. 1605).
The
unprecedented U.A.P related requirements are sometimes referred to as the
Gillibrand - Rubio- Gallego provisions, after the lead sponsors in the
Congress. The detailed legislative provisions authorize, among other
things, fast-response field investigatory teams and a "science plan" to
analyze data on UAP. The new law also requires the regular transmission
of detailed UAP-related information to key committees in Congress (much
of which will be classified), as well as annual unclassified public reports that must cover at least ten enumerated subject areas.
For
much more detail on the new law, why some proposed provisions didn't
make it into the final bill, information about some of the officials who
are likely to oversee the new enterprise, and ongoing related
developments, please see my detailed article, "Congress Tells Pentagon and Intelligence Community: UFOs Are Serious Business!,"
